The 15th annual Blackstone Firecracker Classic will be held again this year at Sheridan. Entries are open now!

** 16 June - A typo was discovered in the meet information. The distance on the 11-12 Free Relay (events 43 and 44) was incorrect. They were listed as a 200 instead of a 400. The Team Manager file for entries was correct - so if you used that for your entries, you don't need to make any adjustments. The meet information below has been corrected.

** 8 June - The FRIDAY SESSION HAS FILLED. There are still openings for Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Thanks to all of those who attended the meet. Some state cuts were achieved by swimmers! Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped pull this off -- GREAT job!

River Country Schedule

River Country is a swim league with local teams that promotes the basics for swimmers in a fun environment. Swimmers will get a chance to swim in local meets that are non-competitive and fun! The training program is focused on teaching the basics of swimming and water safety.

Pracitces will be held Mon-Thur from 5:30 - 6:30pm. Cost is $50 for Sheridan members and $60 for non-members. The swimmers will be coached by Marifaith Mueller.

Parent Meetings

Parent meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm. This is a great forum to share information about meets or to get answers to any questions you may have. Please make every effort to attend!

	SST GRANT PROGRAM Sheridan Swim Team has a new grant program to help defer training and lesson fees. If your child qualifies for the reduced lunch program, you are eligible for a 50% grant. If your child qualifies for the free lunch program, you are eligible for a 100% grant. For more information, please call us at 224-1051.
	LEARN TO SWIM!!! Join Sheridan Swim Club's Learn-To-Swim program and teach your child the basics of water safety and swimming!! It's open to everyone -- you don't have to be a member of Sheridan Swim Club to participate!!! Classes are held throughout the year.
